Questions for your Leasing Agent

Getting a great copier lease is not always easy. This is most commonly true because copier leasing agents are not always honest with their sales practices. Many of them are only interested in getting your money and moving forward. This is why it’s so important to talk with your agent to make sure that you trust them.

Not everyone shares our values, so it’s nice to have some questions ready for your agent to see if they are on the same page with you.

  • Can you explain the entire pricing of my lease? Don’t let them just tell you the price of leasing the copier. There is going to be more on your lease that you need to understand. Demand a full breakdown of your payments. If they won’t do this honestly then they may be hiding something.
  • What do you think is best for my business? This is best if you already have an idea of what you need. If you feel that they are just pushing you to expensive options then they probably are only in it for the money.
  • What kind of help can I expect to get? You want to make sure that your leasing company has your back when you need it. Make sure you understand what kind of business you are dealing with and if they actually care about you.

 

Having some questions for your leasing agent is a great way to see if you can trust them or not. Trust your gut and don’t go with anyone that seems sketchy.
